I am a product development specialist who makes ideas real. For twenty years I have turned complex challenges into products you can hold in your hands. I have worked across military, medical and consumer fields. My process is simple. I take a concept and manage its entire journey to the market. This involves mechanical design, building prototypes and setting up production. I focus on creating solutions that work perfectly and can be manufactured efficiently.
My career is built on practical action. I founded and ran a product design studio for sixteen years. We did not just design on paper. We built working prototypes and partnered with workshops to ensure our designs could be produced. Later roles saw me inside manufacturing plants. I designed assembly tools and wrote quality procedures. I have even managed multi-site operational teams, installing solar power and fibre optics to make systems more resilient.
Now I connect physical and digital creation. My recent work includes leading user experience design for a neurodivergent awareness portal. I also designed the UX for a gender-based violence screening tool. This skill adds a digital layer to my physical product expertise.
I understand how things work. More importantly, I know how to make them work better.
